Introduction

Nestled among the picturesque mountains of South Coorg is KALS. They approached us to redo their identity, logo, signages and communication. For KALS, helping each child to know themselves better, unlock their own unique strengths, and hone their skills, through a differentiated approach combining sports and academics, is a daily commitment.

Challenge

Our goal was to develop a new identity and strategic direction for KALS, we needed to take forward their existing value system of “Go the distance”. The logo needed to best represent their key learnings which are physical education, knowledge and nature. The website’s look and feel needed to change for better, but keeping in-line with the core teachings of KALS.

Solution

In developing the strategic direction for KALS, a holistic school, we took forward their existing value system of “Go the distance” and built a universe around the principles of- Empowerment, Integrity, Perseverance and Goodness. The logo is a blend of 3 of the key learnings that KALS instills in their students, physical education, knowledge and the inclusion of nature and the environment in one’s growth. The colours are an extension of the passions and drive of the founders. The objective of the website design was to show clearly to the key users, parents, students and alumni, the dedication of the KALS team.
