Snitch is an Indian men’s western apparel brand expanding its retail presence with a refreshed store identity in Colaba, Mumbai, designed to feel more premium, immersive, and experience-led while staying rooted in the character of its historic setting.

THE RESTORE POV

Restore approached the project as a dialogue between heritage and futurism, preserving the existing architectural shell while introducing a pronounced contemporary identity within. Developed as Fashion Maze, the store transforms shopping into an explorative journey of layered pathways and shifting perspectives, drawing inspiration from the geometry of the brand logo.

THE DETAILS

The façade preserves the building’s classical character, refined to project a more premium street presence. Inside, a double-height foyer forms an immersive threshold framed by twin arch portals layered with brand visuals, mirrors, and messaging. Overhead, a suspended mirrored-metal Snitch logo doubles as a chandelier-like installation, instantly setting up a futuristic tone.

To the right, an interactive checkered wall invites participation. Rotatable panels in black and grey metallic finishes flip between branding and messaging to reveal hidden content through customer interaction.

The plan opens into multiple circulation paths, where metallic fixtures are precisely inserted within historic arches to create a deliberate classical–modern interplay. Mid-floor fixtures adopt maze-inspired geometries, with overhead lighting echoing the same footprint to highlight apparel while reinforcing the maze language.

Discovery hotspots reintroduce graphic collage moments that spotlight hero products, while hidden messages embedded within the flooring reward exploration. Interactive VM elements, including rotatable shelf talkers and dice cubes, allow customers to flip messaging and experiment with top wear and bottom wear pairings.

The journey culminates at the trial rooms, designed as an infinity mirror maze where the fitting experience transforms into a memorable, photo-worthy brand moment.
