Co-created with one of the most happening and young star of the Hindi film industry, Jacqueline Fernandez, Imara seeks to present a refreshingly new perspective in fashion for today’s young Indian woman. Much like a classic Bollywood production, Imara has a bit of everything: tradition, craftsmanship, glitz, modernity, style, colour and vibrancy.

For the store, we drew inspiration from fairy tales and traditional stories.

The Details

The jali designs pay tribute to the palaces behind which beautiful princesses of yore lived. The jali on the back of POS has been carefully designed to capture the pattern gradation from solid to the more intricate. The rope wall installation with Victorian detailed frames is reminiscent of the way a prince would climb a wall in a fairy tale; in the mannequin’s hand, two golden slippers which are a nod to countless stories of princesses. The mannequin heads with headwraps and the ornate glass jars are used to display the latest patterns and prints of the Imara collection. These are set off with black and gold dual tone fixtures and a traditional herringbone wooden floor.
