Overview

Our latest collaboration with Trends, is all about the beautiful saree. This historic and sensuous garment needed to be housed in an 8000sq ft space, equalling its grandeur. Introducing Avantra by Trends, a Trends foray into the saree market, was ideated keeping in mind the garment and what it stands for in our cultural context – a simple garment with endless possibilities, and the highest form of ornamentation. 

The Restore POV

At Restore we take inspiration from everything we see around us. When it came to designing our next space, the guiding thought arose from something rooted in adornment. Alta symbolizes togetherness, celebration, femininity and a mark of adulthood

The Details

The central aisle leads the customer in, a red carpet welcome. Comfortable seating, easy way finding and personalised shopping spaces have been incorporated to allow shopped to browse and try out their favorite pieces with ease. 

Material can have a conversation with the shopper. While designing the space, we wanted to bring the inspiration of Alta to life. The red lakha granite has a rich colour that visualises alta adorned hands. This was then balanced with softer neutral tones and highlighted with golden metallic hints. Overall, the materials were used to accentuate the story of the space. 

The layout allows the use to find everything one needs to wear a saree beautifully.
